In our everyday lives we are faced with so many options, so many different paths we can take to create our own life story. Each decision we make as individuals impacts our lives and makes us who we are. Sometimes life makes decisions for us and those kinks in the road help us to become who we truly are. To me, design is a process, much like life and I have become a designer not only to create, but also to translate. I am constantly inspired by people, businesses, ideas and impressions of the world. I see myself as a translator because I take visions—whether business or personal—and articulate them into designs that can help to clearly communicate business objectives, significance of milestones, or unique personal style.
